This is the second collection of headpieces for Shrimpton Couture, designed and made by hand by the talented Lucia Echavarría of the Magnetic Midnight label. Both this collection and the first that we did together draws its inspiration from some of the most famous headpieces in fashion’s history. Each collection, along with each individual headpiece, is exclusive to Shrimpton Couture.
This collection has been named Egyptomania and Lucia drew her inspiration from ancient Egyptian art and its presence in our cultural imagination. Egyptomania was a term used for the fascination with all things Egyptian in the nineteenth century, a fascination that spread to architecture, art and literature. The movement culminated in the discovery of King Tutankhamun’s tomb in 1922; after which, Egyptian motifs pervaded modern culture, art and fashion, becoming an integral part of the language of Art Deco. Cleopatra, its most famous queen, and her countless portrayals in art, literature and film throughout history, equally embodies this fascination with a magnificent past.
Each of the twelve pieces in the collection plays tribute to the dialogue between old and new in a palette combining rich black and gold velvet with gold sequins, mirrors and beads with hints of turquoise, coral and blue. Each is a one of a kind, made by hand masterpiece that feels modern yet evocative and like an incredible vintage find that is both timeless and unique.
The Isis headpiece features gold peacock eye embroidery with golds beads and is trimmed with a gold beaded edge. This piece is entirely handmade and a one off. As a result it may have slight imperfections, which only add to the uniqueness of the piece. To clean any mirrored surfaces, please gently and carefully wipe with a soft cotton cloth moistened with alcohol. In order to protect this piece, please store it in the hard-sided box that it will ship in.
Measures 10" total height from bottom of band to the top x 10" total width. The height from the center of the band to the top is 4". The size of the band can be adjusted to fit any size.

This skirt is part of the same ensemble that Yves commissioned the talented Antonio Lopez to illustrate for the F/W 1984 Yves Saint Laurent Rive Gauche ad campaign, giving us a firm date that we can document it by.
This beautiful Yves Saint Laurent skirt is from the Fall 1984 Rive Gauche collection. The first thing you notice about it is that gorgeous fabric. It is a gorgeous metallic lame that glimmers in the light and gives the skirt a beautiful sheen. The colors are mix of gold with shots of blues, reds and corals in its design. The skirt is quite full and is set into the waist with a series of sharp knife pleats to help give it that volume you see. Its a great larger size and I love the movement that those pleats give it. Excellent condition.
The skirt is unlined and closes at the side with a painted zipper, snap and flat hook and eye at the waist.
Waist: 16" flat across from side seam to side seam

This is a lovely full length skirt that is made up of layers of an ivory silk chiffon. I picked this up as part of a larger lot and though I don't normally buy many newer pieces I felt that this one has a real timeless quality to it. The waist is banded along the inner part so there is no broken line on the outside. The chiffon falls over an inner stretch jersey skirt so it is very comfortable to wear. The hem is cut to come up slightly at the front and is longer at the back. It has a very floating, ethereal feel to it. Excellent condition
Closes with a back zipper and the waist has a touch of elastic stretch to it. The inner skirt is ivory in color and made from a light stretch net jersey skirt. There is a touch of a raw finish to the front part of the waist. Perhaps there was something attached at some point? Unsure but otherwise looks to have never been worn. Sold as found. Tagged a FR42

A rare Jeff Banks scarf weight, silk top that is very light in weight and it feels like nothing once on. The base color is a gorgeous deep green and that is then covered with soft pastel flowers that have pops of a soft coral and lemon worked into the design. Each cuff buttons to close on a wide cuff and above those the sleeves are done with a huge balloon finish above the wrist. The cut is slim and sexy and the collar has a slightly more subtle version of his signature, long dog ear shape. It is amazing. Excellent condition
Unlined and closes with his signature double button front. Three buttons at each wrist

I Have a Question
I love this little velvet Pucci jacket. It is cut to perfectly work as a layered jacket piece but the way it buttons up easily would allow you to also wear it on its own as a top. His velvet pieces have an extra layer of richness and texture to them because of the luxurious fabric choice. Plus, nothing held his vibrant colors like his velvet pieces did. This one is a stunning and unusual mix of varied purple tones mixed with a bright green. The print is one of my favorites - hi signature butterfly - and this covers the entirety of the jacket. It has a small and neat collar and the cut skims the body to just over the hip. A contrasting printed border finishes the button front, cuffs and hem. This color combination is just wonderful and its a real little find. Excellent condition
Fully lined in a green silk and closes with hidden buttons down the front. Tagged a vintage Pucci 12 and hand finished. One teeny nick out of the lining fabric near the label as seen in that photo.

This is a rare and wonderful Jeff Banks 1960s silk blouse in a printed silk. The base is fabulous blue and onto that is a heady mix of colorful flowers in elaborate vases that are screened upon the entire surface. Each cuff buttons to close and has a huge balloon finish above the wide cuffed wrist. The cut is slim and sexy and the collar is done in an extreme, rounded off dog ear shaped long point. His signature, double button front is the perfect finish. It is amazing. Excellent overall condition with one small note to review below
Unlined and closes with his signature double button front. Three buttons at each wrist. There is an area of fading that runs along the edge of the fold of the collar at the back. It does not show when on. There is also a line of fading across the tops of the shoulder mainly towards the collar and not the outer part of the shoulder. Photos of both areas are shown after the label shot. Priced accordingly based on all the others I have had in the shop with no flaws,. Completely wearable as is

I Have a Question
This is a wonderful full length feather coat by what I believe was an in-house label for Saks Fifth Avenue during the late 1970s and into the early 1980s. It is made entirely from angle set rows of soft and fluffy down feathers. The color of the feathers range from a pale ivory white to feather that have a touch of pale yellow to them and the variation runs through the coat. The photos have lightened the feel overall by just a touch and in person, depending on the light you are in, it has a bit more depth to the colors. The cut is loose and easy and it is open down the front with just a single hook and eye at the top of the neck. The inside is lined in an ivory toned satin that keeps the overall effect to a monotone. If you look at the photos you will see that there is a deeper ivory color fabric edge at the bottom hem. This is actually a tacked on bit of fabric that covers the hem to keep it safe and clean. Once this finds it new owner this can be removed and the feathers will go to the very edge of the hem. This would have been there since it was first put out for sale and shows that it was never worn. This may have originally been meant as a hostess/evening pajama piece but serves as a fabulous evening coat now. These can be styled for high, sexy glamour or keep it soft and romantic. These coats can top absolutely anything from jeans to an evening dress, making them an extremely versatile piece to have in your wardrobe. It is a timeless piece of instant glamour. Excellent condition.
Fully lined in an ivory satin and has a four hook & eye spaced out along the front. The feathers range from white to ivory to a pale yellow and there is only very minimal, normal shedding so string and stable. These were cut to drape and they will fit a variety of sizes as he feathers expand and contract a bit once one according tot he person underneath. Note that feather pieces are final sale.

I have a small collection of historically important, key designer labelled vintage furs, fur trimmed & feather pieces stored away in my archives that I will be slowly posting on the site over the next couple of years until I have none left. I will no longer be buying furs for the shop moving forward and have not purchased anything for several years now. I feel like times have changed and while there still is a place for vintage furs for some, including collectors and historians, many modern girls are choosing other options. Many of the pieces in my collection are representative of the designer during a set time period in history that was different then our modern outlook. I have decided that the best course to handle this controversial issue is to let the pieces I have go rather then sit in a cold storage unit. All fur coats, fur trimmed & feather pieces are final sale
This garment has been professionally cleaned, pressed and is odor free. Thoroughly checked over before shipping, it will be ready to wear upon arrival.
The H. B. Burnett made some of the best faux fur pieces and I am always on the look out to snag one. They were loved and worn so to find one in as mint condition as this one is a treat. It is very well made and the faux fur is of very high quality for its time period. The leopard print has a fabulous sense of depth and texture and I love that the colors are a real tawny soft blend rather then the stronger, more orange toned pieces you often see. It fabric gives the coat just enough weight so that the lines are held perfectly when it is on but doesn't make it feel heavy or unwieldy. The leopard print acts like a neutral in that you can pair it with pretty much anything and any color. It closes with a double row of buttons down the front and the cut through the body is more to the full side like a traditional car coat feel of the time period with that touch of the earlier swing coat in the lines. I love the wrap over collar and flap pocket detailing on each hip. It flares out as it reaches the hem and is quite fabulous. Excellent condition
Fully lined in a black silky rayon. It closes with buttons at the front as see. Hand finished throughout. The cut will fit a range of sizes

I Have a Question
This top and print, from the 2014 Pucci runway, was shown on the runway in both Look 19 and Look 20 of the fall presentation. Even though it is a more recent piece, it is sure to become an important piece in terms of Peter Dundas' career. Style.com said that this was one of his best collections:
Over his five years at Emilio Pucci, Peter Dundas has soaked in the house's Italian jet-set heritage and turned the show into one of Milan's hot tickets. ...... Dundas tapped into his own history, and the result ranks up there with his best collections for Pucci.....Jersey was another house signature, but back in Emilio's day it never draped quite as fabulously.
It is a top, although the way it is cut you could probably get away with wearing it as a mirco-mini if you are brave enough. It is made out of a slinky, fine light weight, jersey with that fabulous, signature, Pucci print, inspired by the archives, covering its surface. It has a stretch banding around the waist that hugs it in under the loose and easy bodice. Cut outs circle the upper bust to giving a sexy glimpse of skin. These cut outs are connected by a gold chain that runs around the upper edge of the neckline and creates a tantalizing series of open slashes. The neckline is cut extra wide so it sits off the shoulder and the cut below is extremely loose and easy. The workmanship that has been put into it and the draping of the jersey is extraordinary and shows a high level of technique. This particular fabric is extremely hard to work with and the level of fit and draping that Dundas has achieved is wonderful. Never worn. Excellent condition
The lower banding is a double layer of the same printed jersey and the bodice is lined in an ivory jersey. The sleeves are unlined. It slips over the head to wear. Tagged a modern IT42, FR38, UK10 or 8US. The fabric does have stretch

I Have a Question
Helen Bond Carruthers lived in Versailles, Kentucky and in the 1950s she began decorating cashmere sweaters for her friends. She would purchase high quality cashmere sweaters, ordered from Bergdorf Goodman's, and she then embellished them with embroidery taken from antique shawls, linens, wedding dresses and other heirlooms finds. She added her own silk linings and her label. She would change the buttons and shorten the sleeves. According to the Headley-Whitney Museum in Lexington, Ky, where they have a Helen Bond Carruthers exhibit, Elizabeth Taylor supposedly purchased ten sweaters in one afternoon and she was only one of many other celebrities who wore and loved them. This one is gorgeous. The cashmere is in perfect condition and I love that it is done in grey as it will go with anything. The applique work on this one features a hand applied, antique cording applique, in a floral design. This covers the front, the back and adorns each sleeve. The buttons are done in a cording as well and are little hand made knots. The inside of this one has been lined in a soft grey silk and the inner hem is finished with an extra wide silk grosgrain ribbon. Her signature label is hand-stitched predominately in place on that ribbon. Excellent condition.
Hand set silk lining on the back and front panels of the sweater with the sleeves left unlined. Buttons to close. Hand appliqued and hand finished. The shoulders and bust are cut to fall loose and easy

Norman Stubb’s was the designer behind the hand constructed, appliquéd, and sometimes painted leather jackets that were made in the workshop of East West Musical Instruments Co, originally on Castro Street in San Francisco, and then later on Folsom from 1967 -1979. This design is the called 'Del Rosa'.
This jacket was worn and loved - most East West jackets were. They were not a fashion statement, they were a lifestyle and they were bought to be loved and worn. In my world, most vintage I source is pristine but with a jacket like this, the patina and wear it has adds to its appeal and makes it more authentic. The cut is a slim wrap and tie fit that falls to the hips in length. On the front are hand cut, rose appliques in a different color leather. These are accented by hand cut leaves inset into the jacket in a third color of leather. Vertical seaming and panels of leather give it added texture. The exterior of the jacket is in excellent condition with natural patina. Please review the notes below regarding interior.
Fully lined in a deep copper silk rayon. It has no closures and ties to close at the waist. The leather label is numbered 6202 7 and signed Del Rosa. The back of the dry clean tag is also marked in pen Del Rosa. There are two small spots on the exterior - one on the sleeve and one on the edge of the front collar. The back inside collar shows wear and patina. Overall excellent. The inside shows discoloration tot he fabric around the arms but is otherwise excellent. All areas photos and shows after the label photo.

Andre Courreges did a series of chic separates around this time period and kept them all in various bright tones so you could mix and match them. They were fast and easy dressing and could be layered or worn on their own. This on is in a gorgeous bright turquoise that is better even in person then how it photoed. The sweater is ribbed and I love the skinny fit of it. It buttons down the front, has big pockets on each hip and the elongated line is super flattering once on. The little Courreges logo sits on the front just under the neck. It came in its original packaging and even though the packing shows some wear the sweater appears to have never been worn. Excellent condition.
The sweater is unlined and buttons down the front. Tagged a Courreges C and has stretch so will fit a variety of sizes.

This sweater is everything you want from a sweater from this time period. It is so good it's ridiculous. It is made from three different knits. A soft, fuzzy blue mohair, a ribbed wool and then these are detailed with a gold metallic knit. It crosses in the front for a deep plunge and is cropped with a ribbed waist. The sleeves are cut to be super full above the long ribbed cuffs. The gold runs through the mohair of the sleeves in a check pattern and also edges the neckline. It is seriously fabulous. Excellent condition.

This sweater is fantastic. Its big and oversized and kind of feels like it could be your boyfriends favorite sweater that you 'borrowed' from his closet. It is a gorgeous royal blue color. Worked into the knit is a giant stylized eagle print that runs across one side of the chest and is huge. It is done in a deep blue-black and that same color is picked up on the rubbed collar, waist and cuffs. It's meant to be worn big and sloppy and its fabulous. Excellent condition
100% wool and slips on to wear. Meant to be oversized so will fit pretty much any frame.
It is 67" across from cuff to cuff with no real shoulders. The Chest is about 26" flat across and has stretch and the waist is about 17" across and has stretch as well.

In the 1960s Pierre Cardin produced a series of modernistic animal pendants. They were huge and made out of a silver toned metal. Each has a with a good, decent feeling weight to them and each hangs suspended from the same chunky silver chain. There is at least a half dozen animals in the collection and this is one of two that I currently have in the shop. I love the 'space age' aesthetic they have, a signature of his work during this era. This one features an owl and the pendant is both massive and dramatic. It is a perfect statement piece that you can wear with anything. It is signed at the back. Excellent condition
The owl measures 4" across at the widest point and is 6" top to bottom including the large loop clasp that attaches it to the chain. The chain is 21" end to end and has a clasp closure that allows you to adjust the length.

This sixties cape may have no label but it is still quite wonderful. It is very well made and nothing beats a great cape. They are so versatile. The leopard print has been applied to a plush, soft velveteen and this really gives the print depth and texture. It also gives the cape just enough weight so that the lines are held perfectly when it is on but doesn't make it feel heavy or unwieldy. The leopard print acts like a neutral in that you can pair it with pretty much anything and any color and the fact that it is a cape makes it able to top just about anything. It closes with a row of buttons that are set offside down the front and it has an optional tie that goes around the waist and over the front panel only, leaving the back free and full. It gives is some added shape and really adds to the overall design. I love the high collar and glossy domed buttons. It flares out as it reaches the hem and has two pockets set onto the very front panel for the perfect finish, It is quite fabulous. Excellent condition

This is a wonderful soft, black felt Yves Saint Laurent hat that still feels fresh and relevant. The base of the hat is top stitched with multiple rows of top stitches that go all the way around. Larger set stitches follow the piped detailing that runs over the top of the hat. Stitches also detail those two fabulous little pieces that come off the hat at the top. The top of the hat is rounded in a bowler style and set high. The edge of the brim is finished with another double rows of top stitches and it curls up slightly on one side. Appears to have been worn very little if at all. Excellent condition.

Halston began his career as a milliner. In 1959 he was made head milliner for Bergdorf Goodman's and became a sensation. His hats were featured heavily in Vogue and Harper's Bazaar and he gained international notoriety when Jacqueline Kennedy wore his pillbox hat that she wore to the Presidential inauguration. He stayed at Bergdorf's until mid-January 1968 and pieces from this time period are exceedingly rare and this is one of the very few with this label inside that I have seen come to market.
The hat is one of his quirkier pieces and bears a striking resemblance to the part of the Halston hat that we can see, photoed by David Bailey for Vogue in 1965. It is made out of a black velvet with stiffened net inside to hold the shape. It has beautiful rounded curves that play on a beanie shape but with more structure and form. The top is detailed with a flat velvet covered disc that is circled with faux fur. The faux fur shows some flattening from age but is otherwise fine. That little disc sits atop a 'stalk' that enables it to bobble and move as you do. A quirky and unusual little detail. Halston believed that a hat was a "covering which is supposed to make you glamorous, exciting, and more interesting than anyone else". This has all that and more in spades. Excellent condition
20.5" circumference. Hand block and made completely by hand. Attached interior combs and finished with interior horsehair netting and grosgrain ribbon.

This hat is darling with its shaped and formed high peaked crown and small brim. It is meant to sit high on the head and worm at a slight tilt as was the fashion of the day. An attached elastic, original to the hat can be worn beneath the chin or caught below a chignon at the back to keep it in place. It is made from a black felt and is in beautiful condition for its age. Its simplicity makes it feel surprisingly modern even now. Excellent condition

The Western world in the twenties and thirties had a great fascination with all things oriental and places in the Far East began to export pieces made specifically for the tourist market. These pieces combined classic design elements of the Asian culture with a slight western twist to the cut and colors. The embroidered and brocade jackets where among the most prized and this one is a stunning example. It is made of a deep burgundy woven silk that is woven through with a gold metallic thread to create the design that covers the entire outer surface. The inside is a solid burgundy silk and it is entirely hand finished. A lovely example of the textiles being produced during this time period. Overall excellent condition with some patina notes to review below.
Fully lined in a burgundy silk. It has one hook and eye at the neck and no other closures below that. Pockets on each hip. Hand finished. Note that the piping along all the edges show some wear and patina which only serves to add to its antique feel

This is an incredible suede & leather jacket by Giorgio Sant'Angelo for Samuel Robert that is a very unusual burnt orange color. The suede has an almost raw finish to it and is a good medium weight so holds its shape well. Detailing the lines of the jacket are leather trims in the same color. These act like finishes to the collar, pockets, cuffs and upper back. The belt is also made form leather and has an unusual loop closure with an attached boar tusk that slides through. It is cut in a long, lean line and snaps to close up the front. The collar is curved and extra large and I love the top set pockets on each hip. Excellent condition.

I Have a Question
This amazing Rive Gauche jacket by Yves Saint Laurent would have been based on the Haute Couture collection of that season and you can still see the influence of his earlier Russian collection in its cut. As time progressed he exaggerated the lines he used in the 1977 collection even more and the sleeves evolved to a far more dramatic version that we see here. The jacket is constructed from a combination of two of his signature fabric choices- silk taffeta and a rich velvet - both in a deep rich garnet. The exorbitant treatment to the sleeves is just phenomenal. It is cut to be fitted through the body to give you shape and highlight the waist with a ruffled small peplum just under the seam. Each sleeve is cut wide and full with a huge pouf starting at the shoulder to the elbow. Below that the silk tapers in to the the wrist and buttons just above a wide ruffled cuff. I love the ruffled trim that sits at the base of the pouf and exaggerates the sudden slimming in to the wrists even more. Glossy black faceted jet black glass buttons are the perfect finish. Excellent condition.
Fully lined in a matching silk satin and the sleeves are unlined. It closes at the front and cuffs with buttons. There is a extra jacket button (chipped) and an extra wrist button sewn inside. The slightest of marks on the velvet under where the buttons sit which does not show when on and buttoned.Tagged a vintage YSL 36

This first collaborative collection between Magnetic Midnight and Shrimpton Couture is aptly named the Constellation Collection as it draws its inspiration from the stars, the ones that shine every night, both in the sky and on stage. It is an ode both to the beauty of the cosmos, the shining light of the galaxy, but also to the brilliance of the 1920s showgirls and 1940s Hollywood stars. It pays homage to the creativity of the Broadway culture and extravagance of the costume design and fashion of the era.

I am extremely pleased to launch this exclusive collection of headpieces by the talented Lucia Echavarría of the Magnetic Midnight label. This is the first of a series of collaborations that will draw inspiration from some of the most famous headpieces in fashion’s history.
Inspired by the stellar scene of the 1941 movie Ziegfeld Follies which was based on the incredible series of Broadway musicals of the same name, it uses Hedy Lamarr's iconic headpiece as a star-ting point of inspiration. It pays homage to the creativity of the Broadway culture and extravagance of the costume design and fashion of the era.
The Star Light headpiece is one of nine distinct, one-of-a-kind pieces that have been made exclusively for this collaboration. This larger sized, but lightweight headpiece, features a halo shape adorned with mirrored stars, sequin stars and beads, and a shooting star motif with dangling beads.
It is made from black velvet, acrylic mirror, sequins and silver beads. This piece is entirely handmade and a one off. As a result it may have slight imperfections, which only add to the uniqueness of the piece. To clean the mirrored surfaces, please gently and carefully wipe with a soft cotton cloth moistened with alcohol. In order to protect this piece, please store in it in it hard-sided box that it will ship in.
Measures 15" total height from bottom of dangling sides, which extend 2" past the bottom of the band, to the top x 14" total width. The height from the center of the band to the top is 7". The size of the band can be adjusted to fit any size.

Stephen Burrows was a truly amazing American Designer. He was the first African American fashion designer to really achieve international recognition for his work. His clientele included celebrities like Diana Ross, Cher and Barbra Streisand. Burrows won three Coty awards in 1973, 1974 and 1977. He was also one of the five American designers to show at Versailles in 1973 when America was pitted against the French couturiers. As his career progressed he became more well known for his use of jerseys but earlier pieces often incorporated the use of prints. This is one of those printed pieces and I love the beautiful flowers that cover the surface of the cotton. The skirt falls from the waist in a long, dramatic swoop that gets wider as it nears the floor. It skims over the hips and then there are just yards and yards of that beautifully printed fabric by the time you reach the hem. The waist band extends into long ties that wrap around you and cinch it in. I love the ruffle finish along the edges. He became know for his lettuce hem finishes as his career progressed and this feels like an early predecessor to that. It is fabulous. Excellent condition
Unlined and wraps and ties at the waist. Pockets sit along the seam at both hips. It appears to have been worn very little if at all. The wrap waist will allow it to foit a variety of sizes
Waist: 15" flat across from side seam to side seam, but is adjustable with the ties
Hips: open
Length: 45" from waist to hem
Modern Sizing Equivalent: SML-LRG

This is a very pretty full length skirt made out of a feather light Thai silk. Silk from this period from Thailand was some of the finest in the world. The print is fresh and pretty with a pink print that covers the entire surface. I love how it changes from a white with pink to a pink with white as it goes around the body. The waist band is fitted and the cut widens out as it nears the hem with a touch of fullness to it. There are yards of silk in that skirt. It also has a huge silk scarf in a matching print that you can use in various ways. It is really pretty and a great piece to mix with modern items from your wardrobe. Excellent condition
Unlined and closes with hook & eye at the waist. No pockets and the fabric is very light. The scarf has hand rolled edges. You could adjust where the hooks sit to go up or down around the waist an inch or two in either direction if needed

I Have a Question
Arnold Scaasi was born Arnold Isaacs in Montreal and the name Scassi is simply his own name reversed. He studied in Montreal and in Paris, apprenticed at the house of Paquin and then worked with the legendary Charles James. In 1964, he opened own couture salon. He dressed Hollywood stars like Lauren Bacall, Diahann Carroll and Elizabeth Taylor. He dressed several first ladies including Mamie Eisenhower, Hillary Clinton and both Bush first ladies. He even once bragged that he refused to give Jackie clothes for free. He was the man behind the scandalous 1969 Barbra Streisand sheer trouser outfit that she collected her Oscar in, and he was presented with the Council of Fashion Designers of America Lifetime Achievement Award in 1996. His mainline was made to couture standards and I am always happy to find his work.
This skirt is from those early days of his couture salon and is both innovative and exquisite. The fabric is wonderful. It is a cotton patchwork with multiple floral designs making up the squares. The fabric has been cut so that it is set on an angle so that you get that diamond pattern. The flowers are all stitched along their edges so the skirt has a subtle bit of a quilted texture. White lace ribbon is hand set along the lines that separate each square. It has a high set, corset feeling waist that cinches in the waistline severely and then rises above that in a beautiful curved and sculpted line. The skirt widens out as it nears the hem with soft pleats set on either hip just below the waist to help give it the volume and shape you see. It's glorious. Excellent condition.
Fully self- lined in a cream silk and hand finished. It closes with a back, hand set painted metal zipper and a series of hook & eye at the waist. The waist banding has backing to give it additional shape and support.
Waist: 12.25" flat across from side seam to side seamHips: to 21"" flat across from side seam to side seam
Length: 40" from top of waist to hem, the front rises an additional 5"aboce the waist at the front

I Have a Question
This little clutch is fantastic. It is made of a stamped leather so that it has a crocodile/alligator skin feel to it. The color is a deep blue and that combined with the texture of the bag makes it very interesting. It is a simple shape with a double flap, two pocket design. Both flaps close over the bag and layer over each other at the front, closing with a hidden snap closures under the points. Great overall condition with a note below
The inside pockets re both lined in a blue leather. that is clean and in very good to excellent condition with just minimal patina. The exterior of the bag shows some slight patina and wear to the leather of the underlying flap where it shows from under the top flap. Light wear/ rubbing off of the color to the corners. These are consistent with age and normal wear.
