Vintage and pre-owned contemporary items may have been worn and therefore may possess some signs of age, wear, or use. We photograph and describe all signs of wear to the best of our ability. 

Any questions should be asked prior to purchase. Please email shrimptoncouture@me.com with any questions or inquiries about any details, condition queries, or any other general information prior to purchase as all sales are considered final and returns will not be accepted.

Overseas clients: 

For overseas shipments (defined as anywhere by the USA and Canada) you will be sent an email prior to shipment of your purchase with the information that all sales are final sale. Your item(s) will not be shipped until you have agreed to that term. If your agreement has not been obtained in 48 hours from the placement of the order your order will be canceled. If a further dispute is brought up after you receive your item(s) that forces Shrimpton Couture to take a return and provide a refund that is contrary to our final sale policy because of a pertinent country's laws you will subsequently no longer be eligible to shop with Shrimpton Couture and all future order attempts will be canceled immediately.

 Additional Information

To cover the inevitable unforeseen circumstance were the only solution is to take a return and make an exception to our final sale policy the below information is meant solely to outline the procedures that would happen for those exceptions and in those rare exceptions only. 

Process:

If for any reason whatsoever an exception is made to our return policy we must be advised by email at shrimptoncouture@me.com within 24 hours of receipt of your package of any gross misrepresentation. In case of a dispute of this policy the time frame will be determined by the delivery date and time on UPS.com. Exceptions to the final sale return policy will be given as shop credit less your original shipping fee paid at time of purchase, a 10% restock fee plus the actual cost of the return package, and any applicable customs incurred, with the ship fee and customs deducted at par from your shop credit. 

Hang tags must remain on the items. Removal or wearing of the item, makes it ineligible for return. You will be sent a return UPS label and customs forms that you will need to print out. You are responsible for dropping off to a UPS location. Once you have received the forms you have a two day window to get it on the way back to us. That date will be provided in the instruction email. If that window passes, your return privilege is void.

Existing and long term Clients:

We may at our discretion pre-arrange an alternative return arrangement with any long time clients at our discretion on a case to case basis. 

About Store Credit 

Any store credit given for any reason will be done in the following matter. You will be assigned a code that can be used for any future purchase(s). Your credit can be used for all or part of any item including shipping. To use your credit you enter the code provided during the checkout process. Your credit code is like cash so please safeguard it accordingly. Credit codes have a one year expiry date from date of issue. Some promotional credit codes may have a shorter term life that will be disclosed when the credit is given.

If store credit is used to pay for a new order in part or in full, and that new order is then returned, your refund will be given in the same manner used and a new credit issued and/or combined with any other means to complete that transaction as per the above terms. If any store credit expires and is reissued under any circumstances, it must be used within 30 days from reissue and returns are not eligible for anything bought with it. 

In the case of multiple purchases made within an order, with a returns of part of that multiple order, the deduction of our shipping fee may be waived when the return value is less then 50% of the original order

Damaged Goods

If goods are returned that are received damaged in any way through any circumstances, no refund will be given until the damage is assessed and an estimate for repairs assessed. Once an estimate has been obtained it will be sent to you by email and you will receive any refund/credit owed less any of the following possible deductions which may include shipping, customs, repairs and cleaning or the full cost of the garment if deemed beyond repair. If items are deemed to be non-repairable they will be sent back to you and no refund will be given.

Lost or stolen Packages

Shrimpton Couture and Shrimpton Corporation can be held in no way legally responsible if completion of the sale and delivery of the goods cannot be made and we have provided a refund.

Ordering is Agreeing to the Terms Set Forth

By placing an order though this site and clicking the - I agree to the terms and conditions box - right before you confirm your order, you are automatically agreeing with all policies listed here and that agreement is legal and binding with no exceptions. If you do not agree to these terms please cease and desist using the site immediately.

Custom Fees 

Customs fees, duties & taxes incurred in either direction of the transaction are not refundable and we will deduct any customs fees at par from your refund/credit that is incurred by us to be able to sign for your returned item. Documentation will be provided by email for this deduction as a scan of the receipt upon request.
