This is an amazing Jean Varon!! I literally did the happy squeal when I received this one! It's all flowing goddessy chiffon in black with silver threaded edge details. The skirt flows form the empire waist line and has yards of chiffon over the inner skirt. A little piped detail sits at the waist and has ties on either side for a pretty and feminine touch. The bodice is high and simple but has elaborate inverted triangle chiffon panels inverted from the neck line that float on the front and back. Each tier of layered in silver lame threading. Finally the sleeves - I swoon over these sleeves. The are composed of silver edged, tight layers of chiffon gathered into elaborate and dramatic ruffles! I absolutely love it! Excellent condition!

I adore this fabulous little cape that is crafted to look like a butterfly - it is one of those amazing little pieces you can only find with vintage. These were all the rage during the seventies and you now will find them in varying degrees of quality. This is one of the very well done ones, completely hand made and quite fabulous. The black silk chiffon base is entirely covered in glossy silver and black sequins mixed and edged with tube beads. The design on the front and back is of a butterfly and the shape of the capelet follows this design. It just slips over the head and adds an instant bit of glitz and glamour to anything. The open sides allow it to fit anyone and top anything. The camera does not quite pick up the impact of the silver sequins - it is better in person. Excellent condition.
The cape is fully lined in a black silk chiffon. It slips on to wear and will fit a variety of sizes. All the sequins are hand applied.

The colors in this gown are amazing - they absolutely pop against the cream background and are vivid and true. That combined with the gold metallic threads that run top tp bottom make it an instant stand out! The photos do not quite capture the subtle gold gleam of the dress. The exterior layer is a silk organza that is completely woven through with the gold! I love Malcolm Starr pieces and have many in my archives and have already sold as equally a number but this is the first time I have seen a spiral cut bias dress! The design is amazing - even the zipper is set along the curve of the back seam! A low V sits on both the back and front and then the fabric drapes and warps around your every curve! The back has a touch ore fabric through the lower skirts so gives a beautiful refined slight train effect. If you even remotely love it in† the photos you will be floored in person - it is better! Excellent condition
Sleeves: 24"
Bust: 17-19î flat across from side seam to side seam
Waist: 15-18î flat across from side seam to side seam
Hips: 15-22" flat across from side seam to side seam
Length: 58" from neck to hem but will shorten a bit when on due to the bias cut
Fully lined with a pale bias peach silk and closes with a painted metal zipper that is actually cut along that curved seam at the back! The time and work to set a zipper like that! Each sleeve is lined and each has its own small zipper at the wrist. Little metallic threads that run through the dress from top to bottom are sticking out from the fabric here and there. I got this from the original owner and she says they did this from the first time she wore it! I don't consider this a flaw and it just adds to the glitz of the fabric when on. hand sewn in lining.

This is the second time I have had this amazingly sexy and insanely fabulous gold eyelash fringe one shoulder dress from Stephen Burrows! I almost died when the girl contacted me as I instantly knew how fabulous this dress is! It is hands down one of my most favorite pieces ever and this one is a little larger then the super tiny one I had before! The gold is a true gold in person and those stripes are made of an almost a tinsel-like eyelash lame fringing that is applied in slanted stripes to a black silk chiffon backing. The rows between the gold are actually semi sheer but you get enough coverage from the tightly spaced rows to feel decent when wearing it! The silk chiffon base makes it insanely light weight so you feel like you are wearing nothing and it is also cut on the bias so settles over your curves perfectly every time! A one shoulder cut, it skims over and hugs the body through the chest and then swoops out in a A-line to the floor. A 22" high slit on one side adds a flash of leg. A real collectible and a real rarity! Excellent condition

I absolutely love this silk printed strapless Lanvin dress! It's late 1970s, early eighties and it's in mint condition! The silk has a stunning, bright pink floral print running through it with mint green print for contrast. The bodice is strapless, boned and don't you love that pointed bust line?! So dramatic and it really takes this piece over the top! The dress is all about the details. Pockets sit just below waistline and really emphasize the bombshell shape. The skirt is lean and ends just above the knee. It is stunner and highly collectible. Mint condition.

This is one of those little jewels from the seventies that when you see on the girl that can carry it off - well your jaw drops! Made of a metallic blue light weight knit this dress is made to act like a second fabulous, glittering skin (it has more of an electric blue undertone that does not come across in the pics - really amazing!). It skims over your curves and hugs you in all the right places. It is long, long long so be prepared to wear your highest stacked heels if you are not supermodel tall! (it does shrink up a little - the knit is done on a bias so adjusts to your curves) I love the pattern worked into the knit at the top and bottom hem. The original tie belt is still with it and it is in perfect condition. Really one of my favorites pieces and in excellent condition.
A fabulous and easy to wear caftan feeling dress by Teal Traina for Traina-Mignon. Made of a pink floral print chiffon over a inner sheath dress in black. It has a wonderful loose, hostess feel to it and drapes and moves nicely. I love the ruffled cuffs - such a feminine touch! That same ruffled feel is picked up on the wide hem at the bottom of the skirt - this also adds a bit of interest to the otherwise simple cut. The neckline is also ruffled and a velvet ribbon looped through it - this allows you to widen it or wear it tighter - you could even wear it off shoulder! Add a belt and you have instant definition too. Excellent condition and appears to have been worn little if at all. Item# DD890
An amazing Trigere set in her signature tulip print done in a brilliant green set against a inky black backdrop. The fabric is a fine semi sheer silk or silk georgette mix that holds the color amazingly well. It has an almost rough feel to it and adds a subtle texture to the print. This is backed in a black version of the same so is wearable! I The top is cut deceptively simple - an almost box cut through the body but with the subtlest of gathers along the shoulders. The sleeves are a single layer of the fabric and have elastics at each wrist so have the slightest balloon effect. This tucks into a modified sarong look skirt except its all closed - that front knot is built into the front skirt and the cut is long and lean. It looks like nothing special off a body but once on - wow. Tiny couture detail I love - the skirt has one of those little tags that say front along the skirt band! Love it! Amazing concept and a beautiful couture level piece in mint condition!
If you have been looking for that insane, over the top statement dress - this just might be it. It's a combination of elements that in no way should work but yet it does. The skirt is of course, the most outrageous element - its a giant pouf that is cut up under the hem in a cinched in cascade of ruffles. All cleverly constructed inside so the fabric actually does pouf rather then just lie flat. The waist is nipped in through seaming and hand placed draping and the bodice left soft and full. Seaming cascaded over on shoulder and down the side and the sleeves are set in wide and full. The narrow into tightly zipped cuffs - the perfect balance to that crazy skirt. A mile long attached silk tie can be worn draped down the back or tied in an extravagant bow at the front. The colors are still bright and crisp and it is in excellent, seems to be unworn, condition!
These little 1970s jersey dresses are always a favorite. There are good ones and there are definitely bad ones, so when I find one that is really amazing like this one is, I snatch it up for the shop. This is probably a mid to late seventies dress that is made from a synthetic jersey that gives it really great movement and drape. This fabric also hold the color really well and I love the deep emerald green that it is finished in. It is made from a single layer of fabric that falls from the neckline and then gently widens out through the skirt as it nears the hem. There is an incredible amount of fabric through the body and skirt so it is very comfortable and easy to wear. It also moves very well when you move. The neckline is low because o that scooped keyhole front and the straps cross and wrap around the neck to leave the shoulders and upper back bare. It's the perfect piece that can easily go from the beach to day wear to night with a change of styling. Excellent condition
Unlined and slips on to wear. The fabric does have some stretch. It is very loose and easy so should fit a variety of sizes.

I Have a Question
Much like the Haslton dresses that I look for all the time, this has that same iconic one shoulder silhouette.
There is a certain sexiness caused by the illusion of having the entire dress suspended by buttons at the shoulder. It gives the sense that undoing those buttons would cause the entire dress to drop in a puddle around you (which it would). It is constructed from two attached layers. The inner dress is cut from the same synthetic nylon jersey as the outer layer is and it skims over the body in a long sheath. This inner part of the dress has a high slit cut into the side that travels up the side of the leg opposite to the draped side exposing a long expanse of bare skin when you walk or move. Over, and attached to the inner sheath is a second draped panel of jersey that is suspended from the shoulder. It falls from that shoulder down and over the front of the dress for a very Grecian goddess feel. The fabric used has a touch of transparency to it and is very light and easy to wear. It is also wash and wear and virtually wrinkle free which makes it perfect for traveling. It is very easy to style too - a quick change of shoe takes it day to night in a snap. Excellent condition.
Slips on to wear and has two buttons and fabric loops at the top of the shoulder. These will fit a variety of sizes since they are not cut to be super fitted and the nylon jersey does have some stretch.

A fantastic swing coat by Valentino in a bright and colorful mix of colors done in a over-sized plaid. I love the red lining that gives another bright flash of color when you move. The coat itself is made of a lightweight wool that is very comfortable to wear. The cut is a play on the loose sculptural styles of the fifties with lots of volume. The collar is bold and pointed and each sleeve is finished with a simple hem and left wide. All the volume comes out from the shoulder and when on creates the most dramatic silhouette. Huge front pockets sit on either side with big flap detailing. It is exception and wonderfully made and finished. Excellent condition.
The cut is very forgiving - my mannequin is a size 4-6 and it is not pinned on her. It will easily work as an over-sized garment on a smaller girl and work equally well on a larger frame. Fully lined in a solid red fine wool with no closures and big front flap pockets.

A stunning silk chiffon printed floral maxi skirt from Valentino! It's a rare thing to find pieces from the Valentino Boutique days and this skirt is absolutely stunning! Cut in his classic goddess styling the skirt is entirely made of feather light layers of silk chiffon all screened with bouquets of pinks flowers! The inner layer is cut long and lean with a scooped effect and a layer that swoops over the inner layers - it gives the appearance of a sarong style skirt. At one side is an amazing gathered swag of the same silk chiffon so it scoops up over the hip and then flows out and down the side. It is longer then the skirt hem so creates a wonderful train effect! I love how the pattern changes to black at the bottom to anchor the print. Really lovely and highly collectible piece!
An amazing, over the top full on glitz and glamour jacket by Victor Costa. The body of the jacket is a inky black velvet - so rich and luxurious looking and feeling. It has the most amazing heavily done, slightly 3D metallic embroidery. The peplum is exaggerated to the extreme so when buttoned it really stands out - more so then how it has been captured in the photos - there is actually a light stiffening material in it to keep the shape! Each cuff picks up that same embroidery and the inside of the collar is also heavily embroidered - it begs to be flipped up and worn as pictured to show this off! The Shoulders have padding which helps to further exaggerate the shape! Little faux pearls are dispersed through the embroidered bits and this is picked up in the pearl and gold buttons used down the front! Stunning and in excellent condition.
The skirt has an inner lining of tulle and the bodice is lined in a matching color silky rayon. It closes with a back painted nylon and metal zipper. Lightly boned through the bodice

This set, from the same estate, is also a rare and wonderful Beene that is in mint condition and I doubt was even worn. It is constructed from miles and miles of a slinky silk mix jersey that has a fantastic weight to it and drapes beautifully. The top is a simple Tee that has seaming along the top of the arms and then under and down the side only. This creates a wonderful minimalist effect and it's insanely sexy. The skirt is amazing. Super model length it is cut on the bias and the amount of fabric in it are astounding. Its is seamed to mid hip, so you step into it and then a long long tie wraps around, loops through and cinches. I love the way he constructed the waistline on this one with a wider panel and then soft pleating that comes out form each side. This is just insanely fabulous! And the small unseen when worn detail that makes this? Both the top and skirt has a tiny label hand sewn in that say front. Just a courtesy for the fabulous girl that wears it of course. One can picture Beene throwing his hands up and saying - no no you have it on backwards ...and then having the labels sewn in so his masterpiece is worn properly! Mint and fabulous!
I Have a Question
This Young Edwardian piece is amazing and the Marilyn Monroe print that covers it just makes it that much more fabulous. The nylon that it is made out of is of a good quality and weight and it has a n added bonus of being able to wash and wear. The fabric is a peachy color with the Marilyn faces done in an ivory color. I think that the color is better in person then how it photoed even though the color is very close in these shots. It slips over the head with an extremely deep plunge at the front, the back and both sides. The triangles that make up each panel around the upper body all curve in towards the neckline and it buttons at the back of the neck. There is a wide panel of elastic gathered just under the bust and this bit of stretch there makes it comfortable to wear. The skirt falls from there to the floor. Excellent condition

Absolutely one of the best Yves Saint Laurent pieces ever! This is an exceptional silk wrap gypsy skirt with the earliest Saint Laurent Rive Gauche Paris label. The original Saint Laurent boutique opened in Paris in 1966 and I believe this to be from about 1970 based on the style and the label. It is a spectacular skirt made of a fluid red silk. The cut is amazing - it drapes longer in the back and has a wonderful ruffled edge that cascades down the front. Two patterns are woven into the silk so you get a nice contrast between the body of the skirt and the ruffle! And it has its original matching fabric tie sash too! Excellent, appears unworn condition. Item# S339
Love this luxe silk blouse from Yves Saint Laurent. Its really a fab color - a true jewel tone purple - deep and rich! It is an unusual design too - a ruffle highlights the bodice and goes up and over the shoulder! That same ruffle is picked up again at the wrist and on the high collar. The sleeves are cut with a slight billow effect and the shape loose and easy! You can of course choose to wear it unbuttoned for an extra flash of sexy. The silk is a gorgeous light weight - think scarf silk. Mint condition!
An amazing testament to construction and pure joy of form, this extravagant full length skirt by Yves Saint Laurent is perfection. It is made of two layers of rich silk taffeta topped by a wide band of black velvet. The velvet at the top acts to make the waist virtually disappear and the illusion of a nipped in waist as contrasted by the volume o the skirt is superb. A signature gold cording accents the point where the velvet meets the silk and the bottom edging of the hem is also ringed with gold cord. The stying possibilities are endless with this piece! Excellent condition. Item# S231

This is an exceptional seventies long layered gypsy skirt with the Saint Laurent Rive Gauche Paris label. The original Saint Laurent boutique opened in Paris in 1966 and I believe this to be from about 1970 or so based on the style and the label. It is a spectacular skirt made of a soft, almost fine flannel like brushed cotton on a pretty blue printed hue. The cut is amazing - fine flat seams are worked around the upper hip that open into the fullness of the skirt below. Amazing and very rare early dress from the original Saint Laurent ready to wear label. The colors are amazing! Who else but Yves could mix† clay colored hues with a purple blue and make you wonder why you do not wear them together every day? The print would have been custom screened specifically for this dress and the fabric is an unusual silk knit that is fine and light. It is extremely sexy and has an almost Ossie Clark feel with the way the bodice is cut. A deep plunge turns into a buttoned front and you can see flashes of skin between each button. The waist is slightly dropped and the skirt flows from there. Flat seamed pleat work circles the hips in his signature manner, and allow the maximum amount of fabric through the bottom portion of the skirt. The top is fitted and so sexy with sleeves that pouf up above their cuffs. It is a masterpiece and in unworn, excellent, museum quality condition.

An amazing two piece set consisting of a loose fitting pheasant style top and a swingy flat pleated skirt. From the time period of his infamous Russian collection, Yves took his inspiration from the uniforms of the military and then added romantic, feminine elements - like this amazing floral print on this set - to soften them and create something entirely unique. Made of a fine, fluid wool silk challis, the drape is incredible. The top is box cut and loose with buttons at the neck that you can leave open or close completely. I love the collarless neckline and the sleeves cut with the perfect shape to ff set the draped body. The skirt is classic YSL with a fitted waist and upper hip. The pleat work is so subtle and executed so perfectly that you really notice it upon close inspection only. It flows over the hips and just past the knee. There is a matching jacket listed as well and the versatility of being able to wear these together or separate is an added bonus! Excellent, appears unworn condition

Love this bright and somewhat rare YSL piece done in an amazing and bright explosion of colors and floral print! This is the piece you will throw on over everything in the summer - wear it as a micro mini or as a tunic - with heels or flats or to the beach - the possibilities are endless. It is cut tunic style with blue and gold ric rac trim detailing on the collar and each cuff. The neckline is very wide and can be worn off shoulder. Each sleeve is cut full and then nips in at the cuff. You can leave it loose and easy as shown or cinch it for shape. Really exceptional. Excellent condition
What a wonderful and dramatic dress this is. It would have been originally sold as a lingerie piece but it is opaque enough that in our modern world it can now easily be worn out as a proper dress. It is made of a fine synthetic silk that is hand washable. Its pleated ruffle top and signature print instantly identifies it as Zandra Rhodes. I have had similar pieces to this in various solid colors in the past but this one is a little extra fabulous since it has one of her signature prints on its black base. Zandra is known for her use of design and pattern and her absolute genius for cut and color shine here. The dress is sleeveless and has double straps that suspend it from the shoulders. It falls in a sheath of fabric with a ruffle detailing the top of the bust. The entire top half of the dress is printed and the cut is very easy to wear and flattering. A little inset of lace on the skirt is the perfect finish. Excellent condition

These printed gowns were a Lanvin staple and the dress of the season in its day. They were designed for that chic modern woman to wear while entertaining at home or to go out for a chic dinner and were often the subject for Vogue or Harpers bazaar editorials! The colors photoed fabulously and you feel quite wonderful when wearing one! The wearer was able to move and be superbly comfortable, never worrying about getting wrinkled or being inappropriate or uncomfortable. Really these were a signature piece and every chic woman had to have one. The print and colors used are utterly amazing - the mix is masterful and even though it should be busy it works perfectly together when taken as a whole. The top portion is made of a very thin and light silk jersey - it will cling to every cure and is almost like not wearing anything! The front scoops just at the neck and the back scoops much deeper. Each sleeve is long and skinny. The skirt is a masterpiece - it is made of a basket weave cotton and puffs out slightly from the waist before it cascades to the floor. It actually wraps over itself so when you sit you can allow a leg to peek out. The original, wide silk satin, vivid green belt is still present and is a great finish to the print! It is an amazing and rare piece of fashion history and in excellent condition.

The bodice is fully lined in a semi sheer pale blue silk organza. Note that it is shattering in some places. It could be removed and it would not effect the wearability of the dress - I have chosen to leave it as it is still wearable as presented and it is the original lining. The skirt is also fully lined but in a off-white silk rayon. There is a watermark along the back of the scooped neckline that has caused a touch of fuzziness to the pattern along its curved edge. I only noticed it when listing and had not noticed it anytime prior so I do not feel that it detracts - the pattern is busy enough that it gets lost. I have dropped the price by quite a bit from what I originally was listing it for to accommodate for these two small things. The original wide silk satin sash is present and in excellent condition.

The colors in this gown are amazing - they absolutely pop against the black background and are vivid and true. These printed gowns were a Lanvin staple and the dress of the season in its day. They were designed for that chic modern woman to wear while entertaining at home or to go out for a chic dinner and were often the subject for Vogue or Harper's Bazaar editorials! They were a signature piece for Lanvin during this time period and every chic woman had to have one. A Lanvin piece is a masterful mix of prints and this one is no different. The top portion is made of a very thin and light stretch knit jersey that I feel has a touch of silk worked into the fabric† - it will cling to every curve and is almost like not wearing nothing at all it is so light! The front scoops high on the neck and the back scoops much deeper. To further emphasize that back a chunky metal zipper is used that goes almost to the floor. This is an interesting detail as you see Alber use dramatic zippers often and you cant help but wonder if dresses like this from the archives were the inspiration! The skirt is a masterpiece - it is made of a chevron, waffle weave cotton and puffs out slightly from the waist before it cascades to the floor. It is an amazing and rare piece of fashion history and in excellent condition.

Sleeves: 19"
Shoulder: 14"
Bust: to 16î flat across from side seam to side seam
Waist: 12î flat across from side seam to side seam
Hips: open
Bodice: 16" from neck to waist
Skirt: 40" from waist to hem
The bodice is unlined and the skirt is fully lined but in a black tissue silk. It closes with an amazing chunky metal zipper that goes almost the full length of the dress at the back and has a huge ring pull. There is a cafe au lait color mark on one of the diamonds on the left from just above the knee - please super size to see. I only noticed it when listing and had not noticed it anytime prior so I do not feel that it detracts - the pattern is busy enough that it gets lost. I have dropped the price by quite a bit from what I originally was listing it for to accommodate for this. Otherwise looks unworn. It does do up all the way - it is a touch too small on my mannequin

What a dramatic set this is. It was most likely originally meant as a lingerie type piece but boy could it hit the town now! It's two pieces - a dress and that wild signature pleated over jacket that goes right to the floor. I have seen this done in a pattern and in solid black but never in this eye-catching romantic peachy pink. Obviously Zandra is renowned for her use of design and pattern, but this piece really allows her absolute genius for design shine through on its own. The cut of the jacket is astounding - tight knife pleats on bias cut fabric are sculpted to form that incredible back and draped shoulder. An extravagant ruffle runs down the front and it ties just under that ruffle so the line is not broken. The under dress is a sheath of pale silk with a ruffle piece at the top and bottom. Both pieces are n incredible condition - I have pieces from an estate that came form a mad collector and most were never worn - this appears not to have been! Delicious and versatile piece!
First issue Fleurs de Lotus by Christiane Vauzelles. Excellent condition, with care tag is attached. The colors are bright and vibrant.
I am always on the look out for this style of dress by Halston. It is perhaps the most iconic of all of the Halston silhouettes and in 2016 a red version of this exact dress entered modern day fashion history when Kate Moss wore its twin on the red carpet at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival. And just this year, Martha Hunt wore a white version from us to Cannes and she landed on several Best Dressed lists as a result. This was issued on a variety of colors and this one is a wonderful and deep blue, navy version. These were made in both a Petite tagged version and a regular, longer cut version which are a little harder to find. This one is one of the longer ones.
Halston was a master at this cut. There is a certain sexiness caused by the illusion of having the entire dress suspended by one hook at the shoulder. It gives the sense that undoing that hook would cause the entire dress to drop in a puddle around you (which it would). It is constructed from two attached layers. The inner dress is cut from the same synthetic jersey and skims over the body in a long sheath. This inner part of the dress has a high slit cut into the side that travels up the side of the leg opposite to the draped side. Attached to that inner sheath lies a draped panel of jersey that is suspended from the shoulder. It falls from that shoulder down and over the front and the back of the dress. The dress hooks into place at the shoulder and the jersey cascades loosely down and over the inner layer for the ultimate Grecian goddess feel. This is a classic dress by Halston that is perfect for traveling as it is wash and wear and will travel exceedingly well with little to no wrinkling. It is very easy to style too - a quick change of shoe takes it day to night in a snap. Excellent condition.
Slips on to wear and has a hook at the top of the shoulder. These will fit a variety of sizes since they are not cut to be super fitted and the jersey does have some stretch. The easy style and stretch to the fabric will allow it to fit a range of sizes.

This dress is wonderful and I was lucky enough to be able to document it by the print to the 1978 resort collection. Halston did do swimwear collections for his clients and this was a dress that was a part of that same line as it is made from a jersey that is much like a swimsuit fabric. The print is bold and beautiful and the same print used on the swimsuit and sarong in the Vogue editorial shot that I found from that same year. The top is cut halter style with built in cups like you would find in a swimsuit and adjustable straps that curve over each shoulder. A tie sits at the base of the bust for detailing and the jersey falls to the floor in a cascade of gorgeous blooms. A wonderful and collectible piece. Excellent condition
The bust is lined with built in soft cups like a swimsuit would be and the rest of the dress is unlined. It closes with a back zipper. It does have some stretch like a swimsuit would.

I Have a Question
George Stavropoulos was known for his evening wear and his signature looks focused on cut and fabric to convey the beauty of each piece. He launched his label in 1960 and soon was dressing women like Elizabeth Taylor, Jackie Kennedy, Barbra Streisand and Maria Callas. His dresses were made by hand and to couture standards. By the early 1980s a gown by him started at around $8500 and they went up in cost from there - that starting price point equals to around $26,000US in today's dollars. So when you buy a vintage Stavropoulos gown you are getting incredible value for your money.
This dress has a wonderful and unusual sleeve treatment. With all the emphasis on sleeves showing on the runways lately it looks and feels especially fresh. It is in mint condition and appears to have never been worn. The fabric is a satin backed red silk that feels amazing when on the body. It has just enough weight to it to hold the shape. It has an amazing amount of fabric used to make it. That skirt has far more fabric then you think at first glance. The neckline is cut straight across and the shoulders curve up and around from there. Each sleeve is gathered and shaped on a curve so that they have their own volume. This is achieved completely by his seaming. At the back the sleeves extend down and arch towards the center for a very pretty line. The dress skims over the bust and waist and then falls to the floor in a widening swoop of fabric A long inverted pleat at the back gives it some volume for a touch of drama to finish. Very easy to wear and flattering on. Excellent condition
The fabric is self backed in a satin and it closes with a back hand set, zipper at the back. There is elastic set through the top seam of the bust so it adjusts to fit. Silk ribbon edge finish under the hem. Very well finished with the majority of the finishes done by hand. In person the red is a touch brighter and even better then how it photoed

Franco Moschino did an entire collection of pieces that played on the classic Chanel suitings and this jacket is part of that parody. Trompe L'Oeil boucle and big gold buttons are screened onto the exterior so you do a bit of a double take at first glance. I love the play of print on a smooth textured fine wool. Even the buttons and screened! It is also from the high end couture label! Ecellent condition
"Another fantastic piece from our Moschino collection. We love the trompe l'oeil print!" - This amazing jacket is from the personal closets of Jane & Judy Aldridge!
