1960s Rare Oscar de la Renta Jumpsuit

This is a fantastic 1960s jumpsuit from Oscar De La Renta! Its is shockingly light - I know it looks like it should not be with the gold - at first glance it appears to be a brocade, but the fabric is actually a light weight georgette that I believe is a silk, upon which gold thread has been worked in so that the entire piece glows when you move. The pattern is fantastic - palest blues, greens and mustards, all muted and washed so you get a soft pretty effect. The upper bodice is cut Maid Marion style with luxe rhinestone encrusted buttons and the amazing original corseted belt!† The bottom is amazing - at first glance it appears to be a full billowing skirt but its really insanely wide cut pants! Current Oscar De La Renta pieces can fetch many thousands so buying a vintage piece is a excellent alternative and a smart investment move as well. Honestly, I have probably under priced this jumpsuit so snap it up while you can! It's in fantastic condition and a true joy to have pass though my hands!

SIZE GUIDE

Please review all measurements carefully. More often than not, vintage garments do not fit any size category exactly. If in doubt, measure a garment of your own that fits and is a similar cut and compare it's measurements to the listed measurements below.
