Wonderful Upcycled Vintage Silk Chiffon Top in Lavender w Hand Applied 1920s Detailing
This is one of three tops that my client had made about 15 years ago using a combination of new with antique / vintage fabrics and detailing from various 1920s pieces that were beyond repair or found as fragments. Each is a one off and the only one like it ever made. This one uses a pale lavender silk chiffon fabric for the body of the top and it comes with a matching silk tank that you wear underneath for coverage since the top layer has a touch of transparency to it. The colour in person is far better then how it photoed and has a more soft true purple feel. The top is cut into an easy to wear classic T shape that you just slip over the head to wear and that layers over the inner tank. Hand applied to the front is a fantastic found hand beaded floral piece from the twenties. This is set to run across the front of the top and adds such beauty to the piece. I love that the edges of the net that surround the beadwork was left for a bit of a deconstructed feel. Her tailor was couture trained and all three of these tops are beautifully made. The exterior too is unlined and that goes over the inner silk tank. It slips on to wear. It appears to have never been worn or worn very little. The loose and easy cut should allow it to ft a range of sizes.

- The final payment is due two weeks after the second payment and shipping will be billed on this invoice as well.
- items less then $500, or that are on sale, require a 50% deposit with the final payment due in two weeks from the date of deposit
