1990s Yohji Yamamoto Dress or Skirt
You never know what to expect with Yohji and this piece is the perfect example. It is basically a tube of fabric, printed one side with a buckle attached to the other. You cinch the belt to adjust it to fit. I have shown it as a strapless dress but I am sure it could also be styled as a skirt. You can also layer it over or under other pieces - with Yohji pieces the sky is the limit! The genius is in the simplicity that sense of not being able to pin it into any set category. Really interesting and versatile piece! The fabric is a very fine light wool mix and the print screened on top. Excellent condition!
Bust: 17" flat across from side seam to side seam (before buckling to cinch)

Unlined and buckles to tighten as desired. There is the slightest of a nicking to the top of the fabric at the back on a small area. Not sure from what but it does not go through and is only noted when laying flat out - priced accordingly. Tagged a medium

- items less then $500, or that are on sale, require a 50% deposit with the final payment due in two weeks from the date of deposit
