1960s Unlabeled Dramatic Pink Plaid Thai Silk Ruffled Skirt

This is a pretty dramatic feeling skirt made out of a fine Thai silk. Silk from this period from Thailand was some of the finest in the world. The silk has a slight iridescent quality to it and a checked plaid pattern that has a fantastic array of vibrant, gorgeous colors. The waist band is fitted and the cut skims over the hips and then at the hem has a wide 13" ruffle that gives it the perfect finish. Really pretty and chic. Excellent condition with one small note below.

Fully interlined in a white silk organza and lined in a pink silk. It closes with two flat hooks at the waist and a zipper. The zipper feels a little 'sticky' when you zip it but works fine otherwise. No pockets. In person the pink feels the most prominent of the colors
