1960s Gunn Trigere Silver Metallic Knit Top & Skirt Set
This is an interesting little label - the designer, Gunn Trigere was actually a jewellery designer who met and married Robert Trigere who was Pauline Trigere's partner. After their marriage she had a short lived label of her own of which this set is from. I absolutely adore this little silver knit set and its use of a lurex thread knit fabric gives it a little extra pop of drama even though the cut is kept simple and chic. The fabric is amazing - it is a super light weight knit in a silver threading to give it a metallic glint from shoulder to hem. The top has a high, wide cut neck edged with ribbing that is picked up at the waist and cuffs. There is a more open chain weave through the fabric of the top that runs down in stripes. The skirt flares out gently to just past the knee. The knot is very light and fine. Love the versatility of being able to wear them together or as separates. Excellent condition
The top is unlined and the skirt fully lined with a black nylon jersey. The top slips over the head to wear and the skirt closes with a back nylon & metal zipper.

- The final payment is due two weeks after the second payment and shipping will be billed on this invoice as well.
- items less then $500, or that are on sale, require a 50% deposit with the final payment due in two weeks from the date of deposit
