1960s Bright Coral Cheongsam Inspired Print Dress

This is a striking print dress in a bright clear coral with a stunning print that covers its surface from shoulder to hem. The print is scenic and done in a combination of black and white outlined in a turquoise blue - all of which pops brilliantly off the coral. It is made of a washable jersey and has a cheongsam inspired cut and line. The neckline is cut high with an interesting layered fabric collar and the sleeves are long and slim. It curves over the body and expands gently out to widen as it nears the hem. It has the classic side slit of the westernized cheongsam that is cut quite high up the leg. A tightly spaced row of decorative buttons sits just above that slit and follow the side seam to just a few inches under the arm. It is a statement maker, well made and quite wonderful. Excellent condition.

Fully lined in a orange-coral cotton muslin. It closes with a back painted metal zipper and hook & eye at the back neck. Snaps on each cuff and hand finishes
