1950s Hand Painted Fishing Village Scene Cotton Skirt
This spectacular 1950s hand painted tourist circle skirt has a fabulous scene of fishing boats along a harbor that circles the entire skirt. It is made from that crisp fifties cotton with a fitted waist and knife pleats circling the waist that open up to give it the volume you see here. It is entirely hand painted through out and the colors are still vibrant and true. There is a ton of fabric in there - this is a true full fifties skirt. A very unusual piece and highly collectible too - these truly are works of art and I have never seen one like this before. Excellent condition.
The skirt is unlined and buttons to close at the waist. Hand sewn hem and hand painted fabric. Shown over a crinoline that is not included.
