1920s Crewel & Bead Silk Cape
This cape is utterly amazing and a true work of art. Heavy, luxurious bronze silk drapes to perfection The collar, and the entire circumference of the cape is covered in stunning crewel work embroidery. The thread used is a hick embroidery thread in a muted palette of bronzes, coppers, greens and golds with splashes of pinks and blues. Its stunning! Set into each side is a turned up triangle edged with gold metallic lace and set with glass venetian painted beads! They add the perfect bit of weight so the cape hangs just so. Inside the cape is lined in a muted dusky pink silk and a gold metal ball and gold metal thread act as the closure at the neck. Its photoed over a gold netting flapper dress from the same time period and they were received together (also available)! Note that it is much more of a copper bronze color then what is pictured. Its stunning and a true gem!

Here's how deposits work on a standard layaway:
- We require three equal payments of the layaway total. You will be invoiced for the first amount upon request
- payment two of the remaining balance will be billed two weeks from the date of the initial deposit.
- The final payment is due two weeks after the second payment and shipping will be billed on this invoice as well.
- items less then $500, or that are on sale, require a 50% deposit with the final payment due in two weeks from the date of deposit
