1960s Silk Organza & Gold Adele Simpson
I love the richness of the pink tones mixed with the gold threading on this Adele Simpson dress. The pink and gold on the chiffon give it a pretty feminine feel. The gold thread also gives it a slightly exotic feel as well as extra texture and visual interest. The neck is simple with a V Neck cut and the skirt is full but not overly. The skirt has an interesting pleating technique that starts just under the hips to you get a sense of flow and volume without adding bulk to the hip. Its is a good wearable size too and still retains its original belt that allows you to cinch in the waist as much as you need! It is a beautiful, dramatic piece and in excellent condition

Fully lined in a pink silk crepe with the sleeves left unlined. It closes with a back painted metal zipper. Each sleeve closes with hidden fabric covered snaps. Hand finished inside. The belt is original to the dress and closes with a gold toned metal buckle.

- items less then $500, or that are on sale, require a 50% deposit with the final payment due in two weeks from the date of deposit
