1960s Numbered Couture Pierre Balmain
Everything about this dress is perfect and wonderful! It is truly a one of a kind and has the numbered couture label to prove it! The fabric is a semi-sheer finely woven silk gazar that has a hand screened, vibrant, geometric print from top to bottom. It is amazing! Once you get past the sheer brilliance of the color you begin to notice the workmanship that has gone into constructing this. The bodice is cut with simplicity and has a high neckline. The skirt billows out from a slight empire waist and has three full layers that float atop each other like a cloud. This gives a wonderful sense of airiness and lightness. The sleeves balance this with an equal amount of fullness. They have soft pleats set high on each shoulder so they have the maximum amount of fabric in them! The fabric has just a touch of starchiness to it so holds the full shape without looking stiff. Really a work of art and even at the price listed it is certainly a bargain. This would have taken hours and hours and hours to plan and construct. Mint condition!

- We require three equal payments of the layaway total. You will be invoiced for the first amount upon request
- payment two of the remaining balance will be billed two weeks from the date of the initial deposit.
- The final payment is due two weeks after the second payment and shipping will be billed on this invoice as well.
- items less then $500, or that are on sale, require a 50% deposit with the final payment due in two weeks from the date of deposit
