1960s Ruffled Ribbon & Lace Maxi Skirt
I highly suspect that this as a piece by Adolfo. I have a swatch of fabric that is almost the exact material that is from an Adolfo skirt and the two are remarkably close! Sadly this has no label so I cannot verify that but it is well made and fabulous enough to be a designer piece! Made of ribbon feeling silk taffeta that is intermixed with bands of lace. The texture is created by bands of elastic rows - this gives it the most phenomenal texture and visual interest! I love that both the hem and the top are left with a ruffled ribbon finish! Excellent, appears unworn condition

Unlined and with row set banding of elastic at the waist. No closures - it just slips on.
