1960s Fully Beaded Rainbow Pierre Cardin Bag Clutch
This is a superb graphic beaded bag by Pierre Cardin and one of the best I have seen with its happy little color combination. These are especially collectible and this one is a wonderful example. The exterior of the bag is entirely covered in hand placed, tiny seed beads. Both sides have an identical, eye-catching curving design that reminds me of a rainbow with its bright colors and happy feel. The shape of the bag is also unusual and is a wide cone shape. This is set on a brass frame with a large ball clasp at the top center. It has a matching link chain that can be tucked in or worn over the shoulder. Excellent condition
Lined in a cream silky satin with one side slip pocket and the original mirror. I see no missing beads.

- items less then $500, or that are on sale, require a 50% deposit with the final payment due in two weeks from the date of deposit
