1920s Ombre Silk Devore Fringe Shawl
Showstopping, highly collectible 1920s cut silk devore shawl is a masterpiece and really a work of art and has the added decadence of multi colored silk fringing giving it a ombre effect - I have never seen this before and it is amazing! Completely covered with silk velvet roses applied over a silk chiffon base, the entire surface is an explosion of changing color on this beautiful piece. Marvel at the close up shots and yet it is still 100% more in person! The colors are all strong and true, there are no flaws or holes. This was lovingly stored properly and looks new almost 100 years later. It is edged all the way around with a 19 inch hand knotted silk fringe border. The fringe is in excellent condition. Many of the twenties pieces I will be listing over the next week or so came from the same estate that† an important labelled Worth cape was found. All of the pieces were carefully stored and are in extraordinary condition. The fabrics are strong and wearable and all are high end, excellently constructed garments. This is of museum quality and very rare.

SIZE GUIDE
Please review all measurements carefully. More often than not, vintage garments do not fit any size category exactly. If in doubt, measure a garment of your own that fits and is a similar cut and compare it's measurements to the listed measurements below.
